World Championship coffee maker in Columbian

   
This is the Olympics of making coffee.



54 expert best coffee makers, called Barista, gathered in Bogota Colombia for Barista Championship.

It comes from the coffee-producing countries, each contestant had to prepare four cappuccino, espresso, and four original drinks in 15 minutes.

The assessment is based on appearance, technique, hygiene, and expertise of service.
Organizer Mark Inman said, competition is a culinary highlight best coffee.

"The World Barista Championship, is a culinary competition that focuses on high art of espresso preparation. This year, there were 54 countries competed for the title of world barista Championship. That is amazing in the last few years is, more and more coffee-producing countries who have been to the final round. "

A participant, Javier Garcia said, when preparing the mixture to sacrosanctity, he tends to think about the background of the coffee beans.

Colombia is known as the number one manufacturer of quality coffee, the coffee Arabica, which thrives in the Highlands.

Thirty percent of the farmland in the country dedicated to coffee. Production this year is expected to reach 9.5 million bags.
